What moving services are not included in a local move but are available as an add-on service?
Packing, unpacking, and storage are moving services that Camelot provides as a local moving company. You may opt to add these to your local move, but they are not included.
What is packing? It is preparing small or fragile items for transport by gathering them into boxes with padding as needed, including artwork, lamps, TVs, hanging mirrors, glass tabletops, kitchenware, china, countertop items, and the contents of cabinets, closets, and bookshelves.
What is Camelot’s experience with local moves?
Camelot has been providing a personalized local moving service in the greater Los Angeles area since it was founded in Santa Clarita, California, in 1986, the same year the City of Santa Clarita was founded. That means we have grown right alongside our expanding community for 40 years and been the local moving company for thousands of families, businesses, and multiple generations. Our experienced local moving crews have seen it all, and we’re ready to help relocate your family to their new home.

Yes, we can. After gathering all the necessary information regarding your moving plans, one of our local moving estimators can give you a likely range of costs for your specific move. If you would like a detailed written estimate of your moving costs, we are happy to provide one following a video call with one of our estimators.
Do you offer packing supplies?
Absolutely. We offer quality moving company packing supplies, such as boxes, tape, and wrap, so your belongings are safe and secure as you move.

Do you have your own moving crew or hire contractors?
As a family-owned local moving company, we employ and train our own movers. We never hire third-party contractors. Our experienced team will be with you from start to finish and has experience with local moving challenges. We provide local moving services throughout Los Angeles, and our crew is locally based.
